REMARK

- Please note this article only concerns the base of the lamp, further down under "Accessories" you will see the other related part (Body) which you need for a complete lamp. From 1989 to 1993, he worked with Studio Sottsass Associati on various architectural and industrial design projects before setting up his own studio in 1994. He notably worked on important architectural projects in northeastern Italy, such as Enel's historical archive center in Mestre. Light is part of Fassina's vocation - he is fascinated by every detail and studies shadows, angles and exposure factors. Together with Michele De Lucchi, he won the Compasso d'Oro in 1989 for the design of the Tolomeo luminaires by Artemide.

Tolomeo Mega Lamp Has A Piece Stuck/Needs Repair

Hello everyone-

We have a Tolomeo Mega lamp with a broken piece. We have the spare part from the manufacturer, but we are unable to detach the broken part. We greased it, used various tools, nada. We don't want to ship the whole lamp across the country for the manufacturer to fix it and we don't know what to do. It's the coin circles in the attached photo that we need to remove. Technically it's not lamp repair or electrical or wiring - it's more metal work I guess, but we're lost!
